Affordable Art Fair
Julio Valdez Studio has developed a strong presence at some of the most popular New York City exhibition venues, such as Art on Paper and the Affordable Art Fair. Associate Artists have the opportunity to exhibit with us at these venues.
Art Fair Artists receive the following benefits:
- Wall space for one piece up to 24" in any direction at the Affordable Art Fair, Spring (April) or Fall (September). Fair regulations do not allow us to exhibit the same artist in both fairs. You can have wall space in one fair, and booth storage presence in the other;
- The opportunity to upgrade to a full-wall space (starting at 4’ W x 9’H) at a very discounted rate;
- Selected works chosen for extra inventory in our booth storage, to increase selling opportunities; and
- The opportunity to participate in other international AAF fairs in London, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Associate Artist
A Full Associate receives all the benefits of an Art Fair Artist, plus the following:
Project Space Gallery
- Personal artist page on our Project Space website;
- A semi-solo exhibition at our Project Space gallery. This is a (3-4 week long)two-person show with another Associate Artist;
- Participation in two group exhibitions annually at our Project Space Gallery in East Harlem, allowing us to introduce your work to our network of curators, clients and collectors;
- Advice on how to best prepare your work for exhibition and special discounts on our professional framing service;
- A 10% discount on our Non-Toxic Printmaking Workshops; and
- Opportunity to use our printmaking press and studio at a discounted rate.
