¡Bótate! East Harlem Latinx Performance Festival

JVS Project Space & Fancy Vamp present the inaugural edition of ¡Bótate! East Harlem Latinx Performance Festival at JVS Project Space at 181 E 108th St in East Harlem NYC on Jul 31 and Aug 1.


Curated by playwright, director, and performer Fernando Vieira, ¡Bótate! is a celebration of New York City’s thriving Latinx cultural heritage. The festival will consist of live theater, poetry, dance and singing performances by local artists.


Featuring the work of Jorge Luis Berrios, Regina Carregha, Daniel Colón, Nelson Diaz-Marcano, Yaissa Jiménez, Janelle Lawrence, Anthony O'Connell, Ashley Marie Ortiz, Juan Ramirez Jr., and Fernando Vieira.


Artists are scheduled to perform both days.


Ticket prices are $10 each day, which can be purchased on Eventbrite.


To ensure everyone's safety, proof of COVID-19 vaccination or proof of negative test will be required at the door. Those who are not vaccinated must wear a face mask during the event at all times.

Clean and spacious private room with a private bathroom is currently available for short-term rental on a weekly or monthly basis. Situated within a larger floor dedicated to artist studios in the renowned East Harlem neighborhood, this space is ideal for individuals in the art industry seeking temporary accommodation in the city. Specifically designed to cater to artists and writers requiring short stays, this room is not intended for long-term leasing purposes. While the bedroom is still in the process of being set up, the remainder of the floor and kitchen are fully prepared for use. The space will be ready for occupancy starting February 1st, offered at a rate of $495 per week.
